2 new venues opening across the street from Brooklyn Made in Bushwick

New Bushwick venue Brooklyn Made opened its doors in September of 2021, and promoters Brooklyn Made Presents have now announced that it'll be joined by two more new venues across the street in the next few years. They've acquired two buildings adjacent to Brooklyn Made, at 427 Troutman St and 444 Jefferson St, that they'll turn into a midsize 1200-1500 capacity venue, and a 2000-2500 capacity space. They're set to open in 2023-2024, and like Brooklyn Made, they'll feature lighting design by Jeremy Roth (Wilco, Nathaniel Rateliff, Mazzy Star), and sound by D&B Audiotechnik. The two venues will also be connected by a new bar and lounge that's being built, with the potential to utilize both together as a single, 4000-capacity space.

Brooklyn Made Presents President and CEO Anthony Makes (the former president of Live Nation's New York office, who also used to work at Bowery Presents) says, "These new acquisitions will enable Brooklyn Made Presents to compete in the NYC market at any level, and provide an ongoing home for bands at any stage in their career in our unique, elite, and uncompromised venues."

Stay tuned for more on the new venues.
