SLOWTHAI - THREE NEW SONGS
slowthai dropped three great new songs with three different producers this week: "BB (Bodybag)" produced by Dom Maker of Mount Kimbie, "MAGIC" produced by Rico Nasty/Vince Staples/Denzel Curry collaborator Kenny Beats, and "ENEMY" produced by Samo & Kwes Darko and which samples The 1975's Mattty Healy at the 2020 NME Awards.

DENZEL CURRY - "IM JUST SAYIN THO" (ft. TOMMY SWISHER)
Fresh off his great verse on the remix of JPEGMAFIA's "BALD!", Denzel Curry dropped his own new song, which finds him in typically fired-up mode over throwback, soulful production.

BROCKHAMPTON - "N.S.T." & "THINGS CAN'T STAY THE SAME"
The ever-prolific Brockhampton apparently have two albums due this year, and they just released two new singles, both of which find them sounding a little darker and more psychedelic than they did on their last album (kind of in the Yeezus and 22, A Million realm). Cool to hear them do stuff like this.

STANDING ON THE CORNER - "ANGEL (LIFE AND DEATH OF THE EARTH IN THE KEY OF F)"
Standing on the Corner remain one of the most exciting groups in NYC right now (and even if you aren't familiar with them by name, you may have heard their collaborations with Earl Sweatshirt, Solange, and Danny Brown), and today they've released this new single, which is a great example of their ability to entirely ignore pre-existing genre boundaries.

APOLLO BROWN & CHE' NOIR - "HUSTLE DON'T GIVE" (ft. BLACK THOUGHT)
Rising Buffalo rapper is releasing a collaborative album with Detroit producer Apollo Brown, As God Intended, on July 10 via Mello Music Group. It features Blakk Soul, Skyzoo, Ty Farris, and legendary Roots frontman Black Thought, the latter of whom lends a typically great verse to this lead single. And Che's no slouch either; her verses go just as hard as Thought's.
--
TKAY MAIDZA - "SHOOK"
Rising Australian rapper Tkay Maidza has signed to 4AD, and her first single for the iconic label is “Shook,” which you can read more about here.
--
BUTCHER BROWN - "KING BUTCH"
Richmond group Butcher Brown blend jazz and hip hop on their hypnotic, psychedelic new single.

IDK - "495" (ft. YUNGMANNY, RICO NASTY, BIG FLOCK, BIG JAM & WEENSEY)
Maryland rapper IDK is serving as music supervisor and composer for the new Kevin Durant documentary BASKETBALL COUNTY: In The Water, which premieres Friday (5/15) at 9 PM ET on Showtime, and it'll feature this new song, which IDK says he wrote "to basically create unity amongst the DC/Maryland/Virginia area." "This is one of the first times I’ve seen the DMV on one song," he said. "It just felt really authentic when we put it together. We have elements of go-go by having Weensey from Backyard Band in there, we have Rico Nasty representing for the women, Big Jam and Big Flock. Big Jam from VA, and Big Flock from PG, Maryland. It’s just a great feeling to have all these people on one track."
--
RICO NASTY - "MY LITTLE ALIEN"
Rico Nasty also wrote this sing-songy song for the Scoob! soundtrack.
--
ICECOLDBISHOP - "DICKIES SUIT"
Speaking of slowthai and Rico Nasty, slowthai and Rico Nasty collaborator ICECOLDBISHOP recently dropped this new abstract-rap banger, helmed by frequent Rico Nasty producer Kenny Beats.
--
OMB BLOODBATH - "DROPOUT" (ft. MAXO KREAM)
Rising Houston rapper OMB Bloodbath inked a new deal with 10:22PM/LVRN/Interscope, and her debut major label single is the dark, hazy "Dropout," which finds her trading bars with fellow Houston rapper Maxo Kream.
--
REASON - "POP SHIT" (ft. SCHOOLBOY Q)
Reason continues his recent string of singles with another good one, "Pop Shit," featuring his TDE labelmate Schoolboy Q.
--

--
PROBLEM - "JANET FREESTYLE (REMIX)" (ft. TERRACE MARTIN)
Compton rapper Problem will release his new album Coffee & Kush Vol 1 on May 29 via Diamond Lane Music Group/Rostrum Records, and it features this new song which is a tribute to his friend Nispey Hussle. It was produced by Mike & Keys, samples Janet Jackson, and features jazz musician/Kendrick Lamar collaborator Terrace Martin on vocoder and saxophone.
--
WIKI - "CASH OUT" (prod. TONY SELTZER & ADRIAN LAU)
Tony Seltzer and Adrian Lau are releasing a new mixtape, Avenues, in late June, and it'll feature this new song with Wiki that Wiki debuted in a COLORS session. With the beat switch in the mid-section, it feels like two songs in one, and Wiki sounds as great as ever.
--
A$AP FERG - "FEEL SOME TYPE OF WAY FREESTYLE"
Fresh off releasing a song with Australian drill group ONEFOUR, Harlem's A$AP Ferg has dropped a new freestyle which comes with footage of his recent Australian tour. It's on his downtempo, sentimental side, and it's cool stuff.
--
ARAABMUZIK, PLAYS & NEEM - "TAKE OFF" (ft. CONWAY THE MACHINE)
Long-running, prolific producer AraabMuzik is releasing a project with rising rappers Plays and Neem, Tones, on June 19 via Highland. It's got two guests: Juelz Santana and Conway the Machine, the latter of whom appears on the sinister new single "Take Off.'
