Little Dragon have announced their anticipated sixth album, New Me, Same Us, out March 27 via Ninja Tune. The album was entirely self-produced at their home studio in Gothenburg, Sweden, and features artwork from past collaborator Johannes Nyholm. "This album has been the most collaborative for us yet, which might sound weird considering we’ve been making music together for all these years, but we worked hard at being honest, finding the courage to let go of our egos and be pieces of something bigger," say the band. "We are all on our own personal journeys, full of change, yet still we stand united with stories we believe in, that make us who we are.
The first single from the album is the groovy "Hold On," which is a sharp, soulful house-influenced cut. You can stream that, and check out the album's tracklist and artwork, below. The band's 2019 single "Tongue Kissing" isn't on the album, but you can hear it below as well.
As mentioned, Little Dragon will be touring behind the new album, with a North American run in April, starting with two NYC shows at Brooklyn Steel in April. (Tickets for the 4/17 show are still available; 4/18 is sold out.) All upcoming dates are listed below.
