Viagra Boys played Warsaw with Provoker (pics, setlist)

Swedish band Viagra Boys brought their debauched brand of post-punk to Brooklyn on Monday night (4/4) for a beer-soaked show at Warsaw. This is the band's first North American tour since 2019, and their set split the difference between debut album Street Worms and 2021's Welfare Jazz, and they played a new song, "Ain't No Theif," which heavily tattooed frontman Sebastian Murphy said was its live debut.

Before they came back for the encore, the sounds of a basketball were pumped over the sound system -- perhaps the NCAA final that was happening at the same time -- which of course led the band into their hit "Sports." Check out the setlist below.

Los Angeles band Provoker, who are labelmates with Viagra Boys, opened the show and will be back in town to play Market Hotel on April 22. Pictures from their set, and the whole night at Warsaw by Ellen Qbertplaya are in this post.
