With all of Foo Fighters' upcoming shows cancelled in the wake of drummer Taylor Hawkins' death, Nine Inch Nails will replace them as headliners at two fests they were scheduled to play, Boston Calling and Welcome to Rockville. They'll headline Friday, May 27 at Boston Calling, which also features HAIM, Avril Lavigne, Cheap Trick, Pom Pom Squad, and more. The Strokes and Metallica headline Saturday and Sunday, respectively.
For Welcome to Rockville, NIN will headline Sunday, May 22, which also has Smashing Pumpkins, Jane's Addiction, Poppy, Superbloom, and more, along with KISS on Thursday, Korn and Megadeth on Friday, and Guns N' Roses and Rise Against on Saturday. See the updated lineup for both fests below.
NIN are also headlining Larger Than Life, Primavera Sound LA, and Shaky Knees, and they have other US tour dates lined up in the spring and fall. See all of their upcoming dates below.
