Bristol, England's Billy Nomates -- whose debut was one of our favorite albums of 2020 -- has just released her first single of 2022. "Blue Bones" is an immediately infectious song that owes a little to country, a little to pop and sounds like only Billy Nomates. It was coproduced by Geoff Barrow (Portishead, Beak>) and is out via his label Invada Records
“Like everything I write, after I've written it I spend the following months unraveling what it's about," says Billy. "I think 'Blue Bones' is a candid conversation with my own depression.
