The Dream Syndicate playing ‘The Days of Wine & Roses’ on 40th anniversary tour

The Dream Syndicate will be heading out on tour this year to celebrate their 40th anniversary, and for the occasion they'll be playing their classic 1982 debut album, The Days of Wine and Roses, front-to-back at every show, along with a second set of songs from the rest of their career. West Coast dates happen in July, hitting San Diego, Los Angeles, Sacramento and San Francisco, with East Coast dates in September, including stops in Philadelphia, DC, NYC and Boston. Midwest shows in St. Paul and Chicago follow in November, and all dates are listed below.

The NYC show is at Bowery Ballroom on September 17 and tickets are on sale now.

Meanwhile, The Dream Syndicate's new album, Ultraviolet Battle Hymns and True Confessions, is out June 10 via Fire Records. Stream a song from that, and listen to The Days of Wine and Roses, below.
