Lady Gaga has teased fans with two snippets from her long-awaited album, ‘LG7’.
Taking to her Instagram stories yesterday (July 28), Gaga, who performed in the Paris Olympics opening ceremony this weekend, promised fans a brief listen to the ‘Chromatica’ follow-up.
“I’m so deeply touched by my French fans this week outside the hotel,” she wrote. “I’m gonna come out and say goodbye tonight with a few seconds of #LG7.”
Footage online shows Gaga sat on top of a car outside the hotel, clutching her laptop as she played two brief snippets to the surrounding fans.

Earlier this month, the ‘Bad Romance’ singer confirmed she was still in the studio working on new material, telling fans: “I can’t wait for you to hear what I’m working on.”

The post was the latest in a string of updates that have been steadily teased since February, when she first shared pictures of herself songwriting. One image of her holding a guitar led to her warning fans: “No, I’m not making a rock album”.
Back in May, Gaga shared her motivations for making the forthcoming seventh album. “Something I’m definitely exploring right now is sort of the art of intensity,” she explained. “I think that the art of intensity actually began during this [‘Chromatica’] tour. But I’m not done with it yet.”
She will be seen next in October’s Joker: Folie à Deux – playing Harley Quinn to Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker in the much-anticipated “jukebox musical” sequel to the 2019 hit film.
Her take on Harley Quinn is reportedly inspired by Charles Manson’s followers, and will feature “plenty of bum notes”.
Gaga recently explained to Empire that altering her singing voice for the film required “removing the technicality of the whole thing, removing my perceived art form from it all and completely being inside of who she is.”
