MGK Brands Yungblud a “Silver Spooned Preachy Wanker” in Social Media Feud

Machine Gun Kelly has publicly branded Yungblud a “silver spooned preachy wanker,” escalating tensions between the two former friends. The conflict centers on a recent video posted by Yungblud, in which the musician discussed the growing inaccessibility of live music and his ongoing efforts to advocate for more affordable ticket prices through initiatives like his own BLUDFEST.

In a now-deleted social media post, Machine Gun Kelly responded with sharp criticism, alleging that the singer’s own touring practices contradict his public messaging. “You cancelled a tour because you couldn’t sell tickets blamed it on mental health then got parazzi’d at Nobu the next day Pinocchio,” he wrote. He further challenged the authenticity of the campaign, adding: “And your actual tour tickets are still the same price as every other artist. Shut the fuck up you silver spooned preachy wanker.”

The public spat marks a significant departure from the pair’s previously close relationship. The two artists first collaborated in 2019 on the track ‘I Think I’m Okay’ from the album ‘Hotel Diablo’, and later teamed up again for the 2020 single ‘Acting Like That’. At the time, Machine Gun Kelly had spoken warmly of their bond, comparing their creative partnership to a “union of rock stars.”

However, the dynamic appears to have soured in recent months. Fans previously speculated that Machine Gun Kelly’s recent single ‘Fix Ur Face’ contained veiled disses aimed at Yungblud, particularly in lyrics referencing “Mickey Mouse kids turned rockstars” who are “leaving private schools, tryna be outlaws.”

A spokesperson for Yungblud addressed the latest comments by stating that the musician is currently focused on his sold-out North American tour and upcoming album. “He genuinely hasn’t got time to engage in any of this but we wish Machine Gun Kelly the very best,” the representative told TMZ.
