Romanian DJ Matt Hauser has officially joined the EG After series, marking his debut with a sophisticated new mix that is now available for streaming on SoundCloud and Mixcloud. Known for his nuanced approach to electronic music, Hauser delivers a session that seamlessly traverses the landscapes of minimal, house, techno, breakbeat, and downtempo.
The mix is carefully curated to build tension, starting with loose, atmospheric rhythms before transitioning into more direct, high-energy club pressure. It concludes on a reflective, melodic note, showcasing Hauser's ability to craft a cohesive narrative through sound. Throughout the session, he incorporates tracks from a diverse array of artists, including Afrilounge, Per Hammar, Kassian, Priori, ILS, Delano, Zombies in Miami & Pau Pau, Tarrentella, Data Memory Access, Vhyce, Accelerationism, Andre Zimmer, 51 Days, Samuel L Session, Young American Primitive, Madonna, and Subrosa.
Now based in London, Hauser’s journey into electronic music began at the age of 17 in Romania, where he first cut his teeth organizing underground parties. Since his relocation in 2020, he has become a fixture in the UK capital's scene, performing at renowned venues such as The Glove That Fits, Egg London, Rolling Stock, Kizuna, and Club Vega. Beyond his performance work, he remains a dedicated curator, managing the Underground Office event series across Bucharest and Iași, as well as overseeing the operations of Nightclubber.ro.
