Witney Carson Announces Pregnancy and Return to DWTS Season 35

Dancing With the Stars professional dancer Witney Carson is preparing for a monumental season. The 32-year-old performer recently announced that she is pregnant with her third child, sharing the joyful news on Good Morning America. Despite the life-changing milestone, Carson confirmed her intention to return to the ballroom for Season 35 of the hit competition series.

Expressing her gratitude, Carson noted that she is thrilled to be growing her family with her husband, Carson McAllister. Balancing motherhood and her career remains a priority for the dancer. "My plan is to, as long as the baby is healthy and as long as I'm doing well, then we will compete again on this season on Dancing With the Stars," she explained. "I love being a mom more than anything, and I also love to dance. I love both. And so if I can do both, then that's what I want to do."

Carson acknowledged the unique challenge of competing while expecting, noting that she expects to be the first professional dancer to participate in the show while this far along in a pregnancy. She remains optimistic, stating, "I want to feel empowered. I want to see what my body can do."

In addition to her return, Carson revealed her celebrity partner for the season: Jimmy Kimmel Live! personality Guillermo Rodriguez. The duo is already looking forward to working as a team. "Hopefully Guillermo will be right there beside me and we can work as a team," she added.

Carson and McAllister, who married in 2016, are already parents to sons Leo and Jet. As the anticipation for Season 35 builds, fans are eager to see how the pair performs when the show premieres on September 15 on ABC and Disney+, with streaming available on Hulu.
