Rock icons Interpol and Queens Of The Stone Age have officially announced a monumental joint concert in Mexico City, marking a significant event for fans of both legendary acts. The bands are set to take the stage at the Estadio Ciudad de los Deportes on March 6, 2027, promising an unforgettable night of live music.
The announcement has generated significant buzz, with Queens Of The Stone Age sharing their excitement on social media, stating, “MEXICO 🇲🇽 We can’t wait to see you with Interpol.” This performance is part of a broader three-show run across Mexico, which includes stops at Arena Guadalajara on March 2 and Arena Monterrey on March 9. The acclaimed band The Black Angels will serve as support for all three dates.
Tickets for the highly anticipated Mexico City show will be available for general sale starting at 10am local time on Friday, September 25. Fans looking to secure their spots early can also access an artist pre-sale beginning on Thursday, September 24.
This collaboration follows a history of successful performances in the region. In 2024, Interpol delivered a career-defining performance at Mexico City’s Zócalo square to a crowd of over 150,000 people, while Queens Of The Stone Age previously captivated audiences at the city’s Corona Capital festival.
Both bands remain at the forefront of the rock scene. Interpol recently released their eighth studio album, This Mirror Weighs A Ton, which has received widespread critical acclaim for its introspective and human approach. Meanwhile, Queens Of The Stone Age, led by Josh Homme, are preparing for the release of their new LP, Perfecth, due out on October 30, having already teased the project with singles like “Insignificant Other” and “Easy Street.”
