Chad Lowe Shares Message of Faith Following Daughter Fiona's Death

In the wake of the sudden and tragic passing of his 13-year-old daughter, Fiona, actor Chad Lowe has turned to his faith for solace. The actor shared a touching message on his Instagram Stories, featuring a clip of author Gerry Hussey discussing the nature of grief and spirituality during a 2025 appearance on Olivia Hunt's On Healing podcast.

In the shared clip, Hussey offers a perspective on the transition of life, stating, "We both possess the human and the divine. We are connected to everything that is. It just makes sense, and there’s nothing there but peace and love." The author further elaborated on the concept of death, adding, "So when we die, where do we go? We return to a state of peace and love."

The Lowe family first announced the heartbreaking news of Fiona's death on Sept. 29. In a public statement, they expressed their profound grief, describing Fiona as a "loving young girl who was smart, creative, and loved to dance." The family noted, "She was adored by her sisters, and she was deeply loved by her parents. In fact, she was the light of our lives. Her passing is devastating for our entire family and we ask for prayers and privacy at this time."

The family also took the opportunity to provide resources for those struggling, urging anyone in need to reach out to the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
