The audiobook is due out on March 31, the same day as the memoir.
Alicia Keys has tapped a galaxy of stars to help sprinkle some magic on the audiobook version of her upcoming memoir, More Myself: A Journey.
The singer announced on Wednesday (March 25) that the audiobook will feature exclusive vignettes and introductions from Oprah Winfrey, Jay-Z, Bono, Michelle Obama, her husband Swizz Beats and others.
Both the audiobook and hardcover version will be released on March 31. A press release from Macmillan Audio also notes that the audiobook will include never-before-heard recordings of Keys' "musical process, song ideas and musical riffs that give listeners access to some of the more intimate facets of the process behind creating her 65 million records sold."
Due to the need for everyone to practice "social distancing," the singer announced last week that she is postponing the book tour for More Myself: A Journey, which was slated to hit stages in four cities beginning in Brooklyn on March 31. And, for now, her seventh studio album, Alicia, is being put on hold as well.
I needed to have a jump-on-the couch moment with u! You’ve told me my book #MoreMyself is coming right on time One of my favorite things that I never told u is that some of my dear friends intro each chapter! Can’t wait for u to read & hear their words https://t.co/FUhtzPf1FN pic.twitter.com/feyaC8pKlH
