Amor Muere, the Mexico City collective featuring Mabe Fratti, Gibrana Cervantes, Concepción Huerta, and Camille Mandoki, have announced their debut album, A time to love, a time to die, due November 4 via Scrawl World (pre-order). The first single is “Love Dies,” which is also the first song they wrote together and is the English translation of the band name. It’s an experimental art pop song with organic, folk-tinged string arrangements, and it’s very cool stuff. Listen below.
“It’s not just about the music; it’s a beautiful process where we connect through emotions and feelings as friends to make music,” says Gibrana.
Last year, Mabe Fratti released the excellent and highly acclaimed album Se Ve Desde Aquí.
