The title party girl from Arizona Zervas' "Roxanne" becomes the Malibu Barbie he describes in the song, in a just-released music video.
The black-and-white visual, out Tuesday (Jan. 7), has a gritty layer over its nearly 3-minute run time, as a dressed-up Barbie gets lyrically scrutinized and subjected to multiple comic-like X-ray filters.
"She from Malibu" and "Straight to Nobu/ on the coast ooh" are two of the few lines to get obligatory scenic treatments in the clip, with waves crashing on the scene before the doll twirls in the midst of cash, cameras and broken hearts.
Zervas' hit currently sits at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 (chart dated Jan. 11), after spending nine weeks on the tally.
