Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band played Chicago’s Wrigley Field (night 2 pics, video, setlist)

Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band began the second leg of their North American tour at Chicago’s Wrigley Field on Wednesday night (8/9), where they paid tribute to The Band’s Robbie Roberton hours after news of his death broke. They returned to the venue for a second show on Friday night (8/11), and you can see pictures by James Richards IV below.

It was another marathon, 26-song, three-hour set before some 40,000 fans at the Chicago stadium, without any real surprises but full of favorites, including “No Surrender,” “Thunder Road,” “Born to Run,” “Dancing in the Dark,” “Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out,” and more, and ending with a solo acoustic rendition of “I’ll See You in My Dreams.” See the full setlist, and attendee-taken video clips, below.

After five NYC-area shows in April, including Madison Square Garden and Barclays Center, Bruce will return to his home state of NJ later this month for shows at East Rutherford’s MetLife Stadium on August 30 and September 1.
