Camila Cabello has announced plans to expand recent album ‘C,XOXO’ and she is teasing a new song.
The former Fifth Harmony member took to Instagram to announce that her new single will drop this Friday (September 6), with a short video clip and the caption “i wish you well, but far away from me”.
It is part of Magic City Edition of ‘C, XOXO’ which comes out on the same day.
“Always more stories to tell. Some new songs for your night in Magic City,” she added in a second post, announcing the expanded edition.
‘C, XOXO’ was released in June. In our three-star review, NME wrote: “Still, whether you think Cabello is ‘that girl’ or not, there’s no denying that ‘C,XOXO’ is packed with quirky earworms: she even blends emo and reggaeton on the brilliant, melancholy club banger ‘Pretty When I Cry’.

“Some of 2024’s most anticipated pop albums have sunk pretty fast after hyped roll-outs; this one deserves to keep bubbling to the surface for months to come.”
Elsewhere, Cabello recently spoke about allegations made against Drake, over his public feud with Kendrick Lamar.
She said at the time the Canadian rapper, who teamed on two songs for Cabello’s recent album, is “such a delight”, adding: “It’s so frustrating to see people talk about someone you know in a way that is negative.
“You’re like, ‘Dang, if only you guys could just have dinner or something.’”
The singer also opened up about how she snagged Drake as a collaborator, recalling that she slid into his DMs without expecting him to reply. “It’s like a weird teenage thing where I feel that nobody cares about me or likes me,” she continued. “And it was fun to be proven wrong.”
Cabello is set to perform alongside Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter at the 2024 VMAs in New York on September 11.
