DaBaby apparently playing a July 4th concert in Georgia despite the state’s surge in COVID-19 cases

For some reason, there are people who think it's okay to put on concerts this weekend, as if coronavirus is going to take July 4th off or something. Vanilla Ice is doing one in Austin, and DaBaby -- who presumably has the ability to attract a much larger crowd than Vanilla Ice -- is reportedly doing one in Georgia, which reported a surge in COVID-19 cases earlier this week.

As XXL points out, there's an Eventbrite page for a sold-out '4th of July Bash with an appearance by DaBaby' happening at Cosmopolitan Premier Lounge in Decatur, GA. It's part of a two-day celebration that also apparently includes Moneybagg Yo and Blac Youngsta on Sunday (7/5) at the same venue. We reached out to representatives for DaBaby and Moneybagg Yo for more inforrmation.

DaBaby's "Rockstar" (ft. Roddy Ricch) is currently the No. 1 song in the country. A Black Lives Matter remix of the song recently came out, and DaBaby also made a video for the song that protests police brutality that he debuted at the BET Awards.

Moneybagg Yo released his new single "Said Sum" earlier this week.
