Daryl Hall’s ‘Live From Daryl’s House’ back after 5-year hiatus; Robert Fripp, Glenn Tilbrook among first guests

Daryl Hall‘s Live From Daryl’s House web series, which started back in 2007, is returning after a five-year hiatus. “It was an idea I had to use the Internet for entertainment, which hadn’t really been done before. Hard to believe but there wasn’t anything like it. So much has changed since then. I was kind of a pioneer,” Hall told Variety.  “I’m unbelievably excited about the new season. I love all the guests we’ve booked and I think we’ve gone to places, musically, that we’ve never gone to before.”

The new season kicks off Wednesday, November 1 on the Live at Daryl’s House YouTube channel with Squeeze co-founder Glenn Tilbrook, and other announced episodes are with YouTube star Robert Fripp (who you may also know from King Crimson), Blackberry Smoke‘s Charlie Starr, Andy Grammer, Lisa Loeb, and Howard Jones.

The last Live from Daryl’s House episodes (Tommy Shaw, Ty Taylor) aired in 2020 but were taped in 2018. The show won a Webby Award in 2010 for Best Variety Show.
