Lamber's 'Velvet' brought in about 50% of the vote.
Adam Lambert's new album, Velvet, has topped this week's new music release poll.
In the poll, published Friday (March 20) on Billboard, music fans voted for Lambert's smooth-as-silk Velvet album as their favorite new release from this week.
The 38-year-old American Idol alum's long-awaited fourth studio album arrived Friday. Leading up to the release, Lambert dropped five of its tracks as singles and unveiled another five of the set's "Side A" last year. Velvet does, however, feature three brand new tracks not yet heard by fans.
Bringing in about 50% of the vote this week, Velvet received more votes than music from The Weeknd, J Balvin, Kelsea Ballerini and others. In second place was The Weeknd's new album, After Hours, followed by Balvin's "Colores" in third.
