Grumpster recently released the singles "Crash" (which we named one of the best punk songs of December) and "Looking Good," and now they've announced their new album Fever Dream, due June 17 via Pure Noise (pre-order) and featuring both recent singles along with the newly-released title track. "'Fever Dream' is about being delusional," the band says. "Going through every day pretending you’re somewhere you’re not, doing anything other than what you’re presently doing. Being in a haze most of the time and not being able to snap out of it."
The album was produced by Anti-Flag bassist Chris #2, which came together after Grumpster did a livestream with Anti-Flag during lockdown. "We ended up doing a live stream with Anti-Flag during the pandemic where Chris #2 told us, ‘Write some new songs and let me produce them!’," bassist/vocalist Falyn Walsh said. "We thought, ‘Oh, god, I guess we have to make a new record now.'"
