London-based pop and visual artist artist Hannah Diamond has announced her first headlining shows in North America. She'll stop in Montreal (Bar Le Ritz PDB on October 13), NYC (Elsewhere Zone One on October 14), Los Angeles (Moroccan Lounge on October 18), and San Francisco (Rickshaw Stop on October 20) this fall. Tickets to all dates go on sale Friday, July 21 at 10 AM local.
Hannah, whose debut LP, Reflections, came out in 2019 via PC Music, also just released the sparkly, upbeat pop track "Affirmations," featuring production from David Gamson. "This one particular day we were on Zoom and my carefully placed camera angle in my bedroom had accidentally shifted to reveal my 'wall of self esteem,'" Hannah says. "It's a wall of affirmations I put together when I was at a really low point and had a really negative view of myself. I decided that I would every day when I was struggling write five good things about myself and add them to my wall. Through the window of the Zoom, I became aware that my wall might look like a wall of madness, so I explained to Dave what it was. He was super supportive and after a long chat he said, ‘hey ‘Affirmations’ – great song title’." Watch the lyric video below.
