On Monday (Jan. 6), Ariana Grande fueled speculation that she was working on new music after being spotted in the studio over the weekend with frequent collaborators Social House, superproducer TBHits, songwriter Njomza and more.
Tagging Grande in an Instagram Story, producer Mr. Franks -- who collaborated with the superstar on 2016's Dangerous Woman -- also confirmed he'd been in the studio with her, writing "wut just happened @arianagrande" alongside a photo from behind the console.
Earlier in the week, the pop star confirmed to fans that she had indeed been back in the recording booth, but quickly shot down the idea that more music was imminent. "Neva left even when I was on tour," she replied to one fan account on Thursday (Jan. 2) before adding, "please relax [nothing's] coming."
Over the last 18 months, Grande has churned out two studio sets -- 2018's Sweetener and 2019's Thank U, Next -- as well as a live album documenting her sold-out Sweetener World Tour, K Bye For Now (Swt Live).
