She let her hopes slip on Sunday (March 8) at the Women's Cricket World Cup Final in Melbourne.
The Katy Perry baby train keeps on a rollin'. During her performance at Sunday's (March 8) Women's Cricket World Cup Final in Melbourne, Australia, Perry didn't share the sex of the baby she and fiancé Orlando Bloom are having, but she definitely revealed her preference. "I hope it's a girl," said Perry, 35, in a video shared by fans.
The comment came during a pause in a performance of her 2012 single "Wide Awake." (Not for nothing, Perry was wearing a pink dress when she dropped the hint.)
Perry revealed the news about her first baby last week via the video for her latest single, "Never Worn White." The reveal continued on Sunday night's episode of American Idol, which opened with Perry dropping the news on fellow judges Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.
While Perry has not publicly discussed the sex of her baby, she told Richie and Bryan that she is "terrified" about her impending momhood. “I’m definitely going to get fat. I’ll look forward to that. Everything is going to be bigger…and better…on American Idol," she joked. Sunday's T20 Women's Cricket World Cup was the first public showing of her baby bump.
