The project was originally slated for release on Jan. 4.
Lana Del Rey has shared the artwork for her upcoming spoken word album, Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass.
On Saturday (April 11), the singer took to Instagram to unveil a photo of the cover art, which appears to be a painting of an orange tree by Erika Lee Sears. In the caption, Del Rey describes the release as an "audiobook of poems" with music by Jack Antonoff.
An official release date for the spoken word album has not yet been revealed.
The songstress announced the Violet project in December 2019, noting that she would release the album on in early January, with half of the proceeds going toward Native American organizations.
"I just really wanted to sort of pay homage to this country that I love so much by doing my own reparation, I guess I would say, my own reparative act," Del Rey said in an Instagram video.
The project got delayed, however, after her family was robbed over the holidays. "Hoping everyone had a great New Years, gonna wait for about a month to put out ‘Violet’ since we lost about nine days with everything going on" the singer Tweeted on Jan. 4.
Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass follows the release of Del Rey's 2019 album, Norman Fucking Rockwell.
