Inter Arma's new covers album Garbers Days Revisited has arrived today via Relapse. You've already heard the awesome black metal version of Neil Young's "Southern Man," the faithful version of Nine Inch Nails' "March of the Pigs," and the "outrageous" (their words) cover of Prince's "Purple Rain," and now you can hear the pummeling, blackened punk version of Husker Du's "The Girl Who Lives On Heaven Hill," the surprisingly straightforward (but slightly more metal) version of Tom Petty's "Runnin' Down A Dream," the bludgeoning sludge metal cover of Ministry's "Scarecrow," the ripping and mostly faithful cover of Cro-Mags' "Hard Times," and the psychedelic, blackened sludge cover of Venom's "In League with Satan." The whole LP is pretty rad; check it out below.
