In addition to drumming in Nothing, Kyle Kimball also makes gothy synthpop/post-punk as Night Sins, and his new album Violet Age is set to come out June 10 via Born Losers Records (pre-order). We're premiering the Bob Sweeney-created video for the lead single/title track, which finds Kyle mining the same influences as usual (Sisters of Mercy, Joy Division, Clan of Xymox, etc) but really putting his own spin on things and never putting style before substance. "'Violet Age' is about the risk Vice," Kyle says. "It's about trying to make this life livable without hurting yourself or the ones around you." Check it out below.
