No Limit, the rap label started by Master P, will be the subject of a new five-part docu series, No Limit Chronicles, which will air on BET beginning July 29. "BET is the perfect outlet for the NL Chronicles. I want to continue to inspire and educate my fans and introduce my journey to a new generation," Master P told Billboard. "Many will relate to my humble beginnings and realize there are No Limits to what you can accomplish with hard work and determination.”
Founded in 1991 by Master P out of Richmond, CA (and run out of the trunk of his car), No Limit would go on to be one of the most successful and prolific rap labels of the '90s, featuring a roster that included Snoop Dogg, Silkk The Shocker, Mia X, Mystikal, C-Murder, Fiend, Tre-8, Mr. Serv-On and his son Romeo Miller, as well as a distinctive graphic design style for their albums. No Limit filed for bankruptcy in 2003, with Master P launching The New No Limit, which was later rebranded as No Limit Forever (and is run by Romeo).
