With the finale of The Last Dance airing over the weekend, people are still going crazy over Michael Jordan's documentary. One of the greatest sports docu-series of all time, The Last Dance proved to many younger fans of basketball that #23 is genuinely the best to play the game. According to Paul Pierce, the other #23 that people usually mention in those talks isn't anywhere close to MJ's level.
That's right. According to Paul Pierce, LeBron James isn't even a Top 5 player in basketball history. He explained why he believes that in his latest quarantine hot take.

"What has LeBron did to build up any organization from the ground? I’m talking about these players, top-5 players," said the Boston Celtics legend before listing off players he thinks have a stronger legacy than James.
"Bill Russell built the organization of Boston, Kareem, Magic, Jordan, Tim Duncan, Kobe, Bird. These guys are all-time top 10 players who helped build their organization or continued the tradition," he continued.
Pierce definitely has a point -- that is one thing that LeBron James cannot take credit for. He has not built teams from the ground up. On the other hand though, he has vastly made a positive difference to any team he has been on, most recently helping the Los Angeles Lakers out of their longtime slump to become one of the best teams in the league.
Do you think LeBron James is one of the greatest players of all time? Where would you place him in the conversation?
