Pitchfork Fest 2023 day 2 pics (Big Thief, Weyes Blood, King Krule, more)

After kicking off on Friday, the 2023 edition of Pitchfork Festival continued on Saturday (7/22) in Chicago’s Union Park. The festival was evacuated in the afternoon as thunderstorms theatened, with gates reopening a little over an hour later. Weather delays also affected the schedule earlier in the day, cancelling Palm‘s set (they’ll perform instead today on the Blue Stage at 1:15pm) and pushing others back.

Big Thief headlined Saturday at Pitchfork Fest, and also performing were Weyes Blood, King Krule, Vagabon, MJ Lenderman (who had two drummers with him, one of whom was Spencer Tweedy, the son of Wilco’s Jeff Tweedy), Charlotte Adigéry & Bolis Pupul, 700 Bliss, Black Belt Eagle Scout, Yaya Bey, and Deeper. See pictures by James Richards IV below.

Pitchfork Fest 2023 wraps up today (7/23), and if you’re not there in person, it’s also streaming live. See pictures from Friday HERE.
