Posthumous Lee “Scratch” Perry LP announced; hear “100lbs of Summer” ft. Greentea Peng & Tricky remix

A posthumous album from Lee “Scratch” Perry is on the way. King Perry is due out on February 2 via Tricky’s False Idols imprint. It was written and recorded before the reggae icon’s death in August of 2021 and, according to a press release, it was “born out of a request from Perry that he ‘wanted to do something new, something different but still with a dub framework.'” Previous collaborator Daniel Boyd produced the album, and two tracks were also co-produced with Tricky. Fifi Rong, Happy MondaysShaun Ryder, Tricky collaborator Marta, Rose Waite, and Greentea Peng all make appearances, and you can see the cover art and tracklist below.
