Original artist Emily Litta has once again blessed her loyal following with another impeccable single that’s executed brilliantly. The single is called “Messy” and reflects on the complex realities of social media fame and how it has affected her personal relationships.
The international artist finds most of her musical inspiration from her childhood days as she grew up surrounded by music. Emily Litta developed her love and passion for early 00s music when her father would take her to a local record shop to pick a CD on each trip and some of her most influential artists included Sean Paul, John Mayer, The Doobie Brothers and Daft Punk.
Her newest single “Messy” plays on the modern problems young people face in relationships when they’re bombarded with online attention, which interferes with their romantic relationships. Emily Litta responds with her sassiness, by singing “if you wanna watch my stories and make assumptions about my life, go ahead I’ll just put on a show for you!”
