The Go-Go's -- who still have their classic lineup of Belinda Carlisle, Jane Wiedlin, Charlotte Caffey, Gina Schock, and Kathy Valentine -- were scheduled to be on their lengthiest tour in four years right now. Of course, because of coronavirus, that's not happening, but the band has announced that they'll be releasing their first song in 19 years, since their 2001 album God Bless The Go-Go's. It's called "Club Zero," and it was "created via email exchanges amongst bandmembers," according to a press release. Stay tuned for that on July 31.
Meanwhile, a documentary about the band directed by Alison Ellwood premiered at Sundance (it was supposed to screen at Tribeca Film Festival, too, before that was postponed), and is headed to Showtime on August 1, and a new trailer for it is here. You can watch that below.
