The Walkmen will wash winners’ cars outside Kings Theatre show

The Walkmen just added some new fall dates to their 2023 reunion, which currently wraps up at Brooklyn's Kings Theatre on October 17, with Rostam. The band has now announced that they'll be celebrating the end of the tour by washing cars outside of Kings Theatre. They specify "exteriors only, no vacuum" and say "We are not sure on all the details yet," but you can enter for a chance to have your car washed by members of the band buying a presale ticket between now and Thursday, July 20 at 10PM.

Paul Maroon will be washing hoods and trunks, Walt Martin glass and chrome, Hamilton Leithauser wheels and hubcaps, Matt Barrick bumpers and grills, and Peter Bauer roofs. "There is no way this isn’t a great idea," they write.
