Thursday's sophomore LP, Full Collapse, is a pivotal post-hardcore classic and hugely influential. The album turned 21 this past weekend, and the band have now announced that they'll celebrate with a special home state birthday show, happening at Jersey City's White Eagle Hall on July 9. "To be playing these songs just ‘down the street’ from where they were recorded (at Big Blue Meanie) 21 years later is so special to us," they write. Tickets go on sale Friday, April 15 at 10 AM.
Thursday will also be celebrating with a new live album, Full Collapse Live, due out Tuesday, April 19 via Velocity/Equal Vision Records. It was recorded during the four nights the band played at Music Hall of Williamsburg in December of 2018, and the band write, "They were some of the funnest shows that we ever played! The band was on fire and thanks to our dear friends Marc Hudson and Staurt Richardson, we were able to document these shows onto wax!" There are three vinyl variants -- violet, limited to 100 copies; eclipse violet in white, limited to 200 copies; and white, limited to 700 copies -- and they'll be available to order on Tuesday (4/19) at 1 PM ET.
