LCD SOUNDSYSTEM
LCD Soundsystem are taking their 20th anniversary residencies tour to London, where they'll play the O2 Academy Brixton on June 29 and July 1, 2, and 3rd.
BROOKLYNVEGAN SXSW DAY PARTIES
BrooklynVegan has been throwing free shows in Austin during SXSW since 2006, until the pandemic hit, at least. Everything was cancelled last minute in 2020, and SXSW was only virtual in 2021, but things are starting to return to normal, and we're excited to be returning for two days of free shows at Cheer Up Charlies with our partners Resound and M for Montreal: Thursday, March 17 & Friday, March 18 -- noon-7pm each day. GLASTONBURY 2022 LINEUP
After not happening the last two years due to the pandemic, UK festival Glastonbury will be back this summer at Worthy Farm from June 22 - 26. The lineup has just been announced and is a mix of acts who were supposed to play in 2020 and new additions. We already knew that Billie Eilish would headline, and the other headliners are Paul McCartney, Kendrick Lamar, and Diana Ross. The whole lineup is pretty stacked -- head here to check it out.
THE WEEKND / DOJA CAT
The Weeknd will support 2020’s After Hours and this year’s Dawn FM on his first ever global stadium tour, and he’s announced the North American leg with Doja Cat.
CLOAK / ACID WITCH
Atlanta black metal group Cloak will be out in April with Tombs, and they've just announced that in May they'll be out with Acid Witch for shows in Cleveland, Philly, Baltimore, Brooklyn (5/27 at Saint Vitus) and Pittsburgh.
KEVIN MORBY
Kevin Morby will release his seventh album, This is a Photograph, this spring, and he also announced a world tour.
SYSTEM EXCLUSIVE
California synth-punk duo System Exclusive just released their debut LP via Castle Face, and they'll be touring in support of it starting March 24 in L.A. From there they head East and then back again, wrapping up in San Francisco on May 1. There are two NYC shows: Union Pool on April 12 and TV Eye on April 13.
