Multi-city hip hop festival Rolling Loud held its eighth annual Miami edition over the weekend (7/21-7/23) at Hard Rock Stadium. For 2023 they branched out from their main genre a bit, with alt-pop artists like PinkPantheress and Fousheé, a greater emphasis on Latin artists like Anuel AA and El Alfa, and hardcore punk boundary-pushers Turnstile, whose history of touring with rappers like JPEGMAFIA, $uicideboy$, and Chief Keef made them an ideal rock band for this fest.
It makes sense–moshing is par for the course at Rolling Loud and other hip hop shows and fests these days, and Turnstile had the place moshing and generally going nuts their whole set. In fact, it looks to us like Turnstile fared even better at this rap festival than they did opening for the less-than-responsive crowds on the blink-182 tour:

Next up, Turnstile head to the UK and Europe in August, then return to North America for more festival dates, including Riot Fest, Louder Than Life, Aftershock, and Furnace Fest. See all of their upcoming dates below.
