Watch Chuu perform an acapella cover of IU’s ‘dlwlrma’ on ‘The Seasons’

K-pop singer Chuu recently covered IU’s 2017 song ‘dlwlrma’ on The Seasons.

Chuu recently appeared on an episode of the South Korean music show The Seasons, hosted by Zico, to promote her new mini-album ‘Strawberry Rush’. During the episode, she performed an abridged acapella cover of singer-songwriter IU’s ‘dlwlrma’.

Right here, right now / We are so dazzling and beautiful / This fireworks will never end / Whatever,” she sings on the chorus. IU originally released the song in 2017 as part of her studio album ‘Palette’.

Last week, Chuu won the final victory in her lawsuit against former agency Blockberry Creative. The Korean Supreme Court had dismissed the agency’s appeal against a previous verdict ruling in Chuu’s favour in a lawsuit to invalidate her contract.

The singer reacted to the legal win with several Instagram stories, including a screenshot from the game Animal Crossing with the quote: “If you don’t want to lose, keep going until you win”.

In other K-pop news, rookie girl group BABYMONSTER have made a comeback with their new single ‘Forever’. The song acts as a pre-release track from their forthcoming debut studio album, which is set to arrive this fall.

Elsewhere, EVERGLOW have added new dates to their 2024 ‘Pulse & Heart’ tour in the Americas. Kicking off this September with a concert in Santiago, Chile, the group will perform in the US and Brazil in the weeks that follow.
