K-pop boyband NCT Dream have released a music video for their new English-language single, titled ‘Rains in Heaven’. Watch it below.
In the new visual, the members of NCT Dream wander through an overgrown forest and abandoned buildings, eventually coming together to embrace a new beginning as it rains down on them. “We are all the same but hurt different / I heard when you cry, it rains in heaven / I won’t let you fall down / Unless you’re in my arms / Only in my arms,” they sing in the chorus.
‘Rains in Heaven’ was notably co-written by the group’s rapper Mark Lee. According to the Korea Herald, the boy band are set to perform the track live for the first time during the American leg of their ongoing ‘The Dream Show 3: Dream( )Scape’ world tour, which will kick off in Bogota, Colombia at the end of this month.

The new single is NCT Dream’s first release since dropping their sixth mini-album ‘Dream( )scape’ this April. In a three-star review of the record, NME’s Tássia Assis praised the “maturity and uniqueness” of its B-sides, but criticised their choice of lead single, writing that “any K-pop group could do ‘Smoothie’”.
In other K-pop news, BTS’ Jungkook has dropped a trailer for his upcoming docufilm I Am Still. The film, which arrives next month, will feature behind-the-scenes content from the making of his debut album ‘Golden’ as well as brand-new interview footage.
