Having broken up in early 2017, not long after releasing 2016’s Apology, the beloved Chicago hardcore band Weekend Nachos are now back! They announced that they’ll open Harms Way‘s Common Suffering record release show in Chicago on November 18 at Metro with All Out War, Fleshwater, and Ingrown; and they’ll play Maryland Deathfest 2024. They also say to “stay tuned for more.” Staying tuned!!
Since Weekend Nachos’ breakup, vocalist John Hoffman released music with Spine and Ledge, and he’s also in Stomach (with Adam Tomlinson of Sick/Tired and Sea Of Shit) who actually just put out the new song “Midnight In Pain” today (listen below). It’s off their upcoming LP Parasite, due October 20 via Hibernation Release. Stomach also play a Chicago show on 9/28 at Reggies with Crowbar, Primitive Man, and Bodybox.
Guitarist Andy Nelson has been busy recording all your favorite bands.
