My Morning Jacket just kicked off the 2022 edition of their Mexico concert vacation, One Big Holiday, on Wednesday (3/2) at Riviera Cancun. They did a career-spanning set for night one, that ended with an appearance by Phish's Trey Anastasio during the encore, who joined them to cover Elton John's "Rocket Man" and The Rolling Stone's "Can't You Hear Me Knocking." They ended the set with a rendition of It Still Moves track "Mahgeetah," also joined by Trey. See a couple more pictures from the show by Brigid Gallagher, some fan-shot video, and MMJ's setlist below.
One Big Holiday continues through Saturday; stay tuned for more from the fest. After that, MMJ head out on a US tour, beginning in April and running through September.
