Céline Dion has announced plans for a residency in Paris for what will mark her first shows since she was diagnosed with stiff person syndrome (SPS) in 2022.
The singer is set to play 10 nights at the 40,000-capacity Paris La Défense Arena from September 12 to October 14 later this year.
Taking to her Instagram page on her 58th birthday, she described the gigs as the “best gift of my life”.
“I’m so ready to do this,” she added. “I’m feeling good, I’m strong, I’m feeling excited, obviously, [and] of course, a little nervous.”
Fans can register for a pre-sale until 6pm BST on April 2 ahead of the pre-sale on April 7. Tickets will go on general sale on April 10 at 9am BST. You can find full details here.
Addressing her medical condition, Dion said: “I’m doing great, managing my health, feeling good. I’m singing again, even doing a little bit of dancing.

“But I have to tell you something very important: Over these last few years, every day that’s gone by, I felt your prayers and support, your kindness and love.
She continued: “I am grateful to all of you. I can’t wait to see you again.”
Her Instagram post coincided with a series of videos displayed under the lights of the Eiffel Tower promoting her comeback.
A screen projected onto the tower said: “Paris, I’m ready. Celine Dion.”

Dion last performed in the capital at the 2024 Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony.
Last year, she was reportedly forced to withdraw from a planned appearance at the Eurovision Song Contest in Switzerland after suffering a health scare.
She won the contest for Switzerland in 1988 and was supposed to sing her winning track ‘Ne Partez Pas Sans Moi’ in a surprise performance, but a medical episode prevented her from taking the stage. A tribute to the singer performed by contestants from the 2024 contest went ahead instead.
