The legacy of Miami’s underground dance scene is set for a significant revival as Electric Pickle announces its official relaunch. The institution, which originally defined a generation of nightlife starting in 2009, is returning to the city’s cultural landscape with a fresh, open-air concept hosted at the historic 94th Aero Squadron.
Scheduled for Friday, May 22nd, 2026, the event, titled ‘The Pickle Relaunch,’ signals a new chapter for the brand. While the original venue has long since closed its doors, the spirit of the project remains firmly intact under the guidance of founder Will Renuart, who is collaborating with Danny Daze to curate this ambitious new experience.
“The walls are gone, but the spirit remains,” the organizers stated in an official announcement. “Decades behind and beyond the booth. Music first. Always.”
The relaunch promises a multi-room experience designed to capture the raw, community-focused energy that made the original Electric Pickle a staple of Miami nightlife. The main stage, dubbed The Pickle Pit, will feature a powerhouse lineup of electronic music luminaries, including The Advent, Anthony Rother (performing a special hybrid set), Danny Daze, Dubtribe Soundsystem (live), Greg Beato, Mathew Jonson (live), Reptant (live), Shokh, Terence Tabeau, and Will Renuart himself.
Complementing the main stage, the El Bolero Room will offer a curated selection of sounds from Alexx In Chainss, Astara, Exzakt and Shade, G Frequency, RNV Calypso, and Soltek. By moving to an open-air environment under the Miami sky, the organizers aim to evolve the project’s format while maintaining its uncompromising focus on high-fidelity sound and inclusive community building.
This relaunch represents more than just a party; it is a testament to the enduring influence of the Electric Pickle on the global electronic music circuit. As the city prepares for this highly anticipated event, the focus remains on the music and the shared experience that defined the original venue’s cult following.
