Olivia Rodrigo made a surprise appearance during No Doubt’s final show at the Las Vegas Sphere, marking a memorable conclusion to the band's residency. The performance took place on June 13, serving as the finale of their 18-date run at the state-of-the-art venue.
A recurring highlight of the residency has seen Gwen Stefani invite a fan from the audience onto the stage for a hug between songs. During the final night, Stefani spotted a sign in the crowd that read: “I’m just a girl who wants the last hug at the last Sphere show.”
Upon inviting the fan on stage, it was revealed to be Olivia Rodrigo. “Is that Olivia Rodrigo?” Stefani asked the crowd. “Oh my gosh, give it up for Olivia Rodrigo! She has a new record that just came out.”
The two shared an embrace before Rodrigo took the microphone to declare, “No Doubt best band in the world! I love you so much!” After she left the stage, Stefani confirmed to the audience, “That was really her.”

Rodrigo and No Doubt share a well-documented history. In 2024, Rodrigo joined the band for a rendition of ‘Bathwater’ during their reunion at Coachella. She has frequently cited Stefani as a major influence and has covered the band's tracks, including ‘Just A Girl’ and ‘Don’t Speak’, in recent years.
