Maisie Peters Pays Tribute to Dolly Parton at Reading Festival 2026

Maisie Peters paid a heartfelt tribute to the legendary Dolly Parton during her performance at Reading Festival 2026, delivering a poignant cover of the country icon's 1977 classic, 'Here You Come Again'. The British singer-songwriter took to the festival’s main stage, known as The Grid, at Little John’s Farm on August 29, 2026, to honor the music legend who passed away earlier this week at the age of 80.

The tribute follows a wave of mourning across the music industry. Other artists have also honored Parton’s legacy, with Jack White performing 'Jolene' at a London show, Orville Peck covering 'I Will Always Love You', and the King’s Guard playing '9 To 5' outside Buckingham Palace. High-profile figures including Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift, Eminem, and Elton John have also shared messages reflecting on her profound musical influence and philanthropic contributions.

Peters continues her festival run with a performance at Leeds Festival tomorrow (August 30), followed by international dates in Mexico and Australia. She is scheduled to return to London for her debut headline show at The O2 on May 8, 2027.
