Julian Daumas Brings Underground House Grooves to EG After

Paris-based DJ and producer Julian Daumas steps into the EG After series for EG AFTER.192, delivering a selection centered on house grooves, rolling basslines, and rhythmic percussion. Julian Daumas brings underground house grooves to EG After, demonstrating the versatile approach that has defined his career.

Drawing from house, techno, hip hop, and funk, Daumas has developed a unique style of DJing, with extended sets shaped by the atmosphere and energy of each room. His career has taken him from Paris venues including Mirage and Gate to appearances across Europe, the Middle East, and Saint Martin, including Ramyen’s Mellow Festival.

Along the way, he has shared the booth with industry heavyweights such as Loco Dice, Maceo Plex, and Franky Rizardo. His production catalog includes releases on Sapiens, Knee Deep In Sound, One Seven Music, Azzur, Paranormal, Mindgame, and Indie House Records.

A Curated Selection of Underground Sounds

For this installment, Daumas brings together productions from Tuccillo, Djebali, D’Julz, Tiga, ANOTR, and Todd Terry, alongside selections from Kidoo, Ale Kis, JNJS, and Shokë. The tracklist moves through underground house cuts, playful rhythms, and percussion-driven arrangements.

The mix also arrives during a period of change for the artist. In 2026, Daumas joined Atarashi as a resident and launched his own imprint, Cool Kidz Records. The year also marked his decision to adopt his mother's family name, Daumas, as part of his artistic identity.
