Electronic music producers Axel Boman and Superpitcher have officially unveiled their collaborative album, ‘Tell It To The Mountain’. This release marks a significant milestone as the inaugural project for Boman’s newly established record label, Blurry.
The 10-track collection, which has been made available both digitally and as a double 12-inch vinyl edition, was born from a unique creative process. The artists conceived the project while stationed at the Helags glacier, later refining the recordings in a basement studio. The album features a diverse tracklist, including ‘Birdwatchers,’ ‘Helags,’ ‘True Crime,’ ‘Latin Sherpa,’ ‘Kartlav,’ and ‘Side Quest’—the latter of which features a contribution from Konrad Agnas. The journey concludes with ‘Hiking (The Glacier),’ the title track ‘Tell It To The Mountain,’ ‘Trouble At The Top,’ and ‘Hey It’s Me, I Love You.’
A New Platform for Artistic Experimentation
Reflecting on the launch of his new imprint, Axel Boman expressed his long-held ambition to create a dedicated space for creative freedom. “I’ve dreamed of having a platform where I can experiment with art and music for a while now, and this album feels like the perfect project to launch it with,” he stated. Blurry is intended to serve as a comprehensive home for both musical and visual experimentation, extending well beyond the scope of this initial album campaign.
Boman also took the opportunity to praise his collaborator, describing Superpitcher as “a master of suspense, melody, repetition and groove.” He noted that the producer has been a profound influence on his own artistic trajectory, making their partnership a natural fit for the label's debut.
Fans can now experience the full scope of ‘Tell It To The Mountain’ via major streaming platforms or by securing a physical copy of the double vinyl release.
