Coronavirus: The Perfect Hand-Washing Playlist

As the coronavirus continues to spread, the proper hand-washing technique has become a bigger conversation in a global attempt to stop the spread of germs.

According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, to effectively wash your hands, you must scrub for 20 seconds, which is equal to singing the "Happy Birthday" song twice.

But one Twitter user found that timer a bit boring. "I'm tired of singing Happy Birthday and you probably are too," journalist Jen Monnier expressed. "so I've done the very important public service of compiling other songs with roughly 20 sec choruses to sing."

Among the tunes on her hand-washing playlist are Beyoncé's "Love on Top," Fleetwood Mac's "Landslide," Prince's "Raspberry Beret," Dolly Parton's "Jolene," Toto's "Africa" and Lizzo's "Truth Hurts."
