Show dates March 26-May 2, 2020 to be rescheduled to 2021
Elton John has postponed a portion of his upcoming North American dates on his Farewell Yellow Brick Road Tour due to the coronavirus pandemic. Cities affected include Indianapolis, Toronto, Montreal, New York City, Brooklyn, Newark, Long Island, Hershey, Grand Rapids, Columbus, Louisville, Milwaukee and Detroit from March 26th through May 2, 2020. The May 22nd thru July 8th performances remain as scheduled, as of this writing.
“This tough decision has been made with the safety and well-being of his fans put to the fore, at a time when health services are under increased pressure and with the concern that these gatherings risk accelerating the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19),” John shares in a statement.
Ticketholders of the postponed performances will receive new event information shortly and all original tickets will be honored at the rescheduled performances.
John has performed 179 shows since the three year trek started in in Allentown, PA in September 2018. It’s John’s largest and best production to date, and he’s teamed with Gucci to feature a variety of costumes.
